How you use your phone determines which material and form factor suits you best.

• If you often carry your phone in tight pockets or small bags: We recommend an ultra-thin, two-piece hard plastic case. It protects against scratches from keys and coins, but preserves the phone’s minimal profile when closed (only 15.9 mm thick!) so it remains easy to take out.
• If you use your phone half-open to watch videos: A cover with a textured surface or a rubberised silicone finish is the best choice. It provides extra grip on the table and prevents the phone from sliding sideways whilst you’re navigating the screen.
• If you want maximum protection for the entire device: A wallet case is an excellent option. It completely encloses the phone when closed and provides a soft buffer against impacts that could otherwise damage the sensitive screens or the hinge.

One of the biggest advantages of the nubia Flip3 is its generous outer OLED screen. Our covers are designed with high precision to ensure that the frame around the outer screen is raised enough to protect the glass if you place the phone face down, whilst ensuring that no gestures or swipes are blocked by thick edges.

Screen protector for dual displays

Don’t forget to protect the lenses and the outer display. We offer tempered glass for the outer screen, which is essential as the outer screen often takes the first impact. For the inner, flexible 6.9-inch screen, we recommend specially tailored, soft hydrogel films that follow the fold without cracking or peeling off.

Does a case interfere with the phone’s folding mechanism?

No, all our covers for the ZTE nubia Flip3 are two-piece designs, meaning one part attaches to the top half and one to the bottom. The hinge moves completely freely in between, allowing the phone to open and close just as smoothly as without a cover.

Do the cases cover the large external screen?

Absolutely not. The cases have precise cut-outs that frame the 4-inch external screen and the dual camera lenses. You have full access to all notifications, widgets and the camera viewfinder, regardless of which case you choose.

Can I use thick cases without interfering with wireless charging?

As the ZTE nubia Flip3 charges quickly via cable (33W) and does not have built-in wireless charging, you are free to choose thicker accessories – such as wallet cases with multiple card slots – without having to worry about the material blocking charging signals.

Do I need a screen protector for both the inside and outside?

We strongly recommend a tempered glass screen protector for the outer display, as this is the side that most often rests against tables and surfaces when the phone is closed. For the inner screen, a flexible screen protector is an excellent addition to prevent microscopic scratches from dust particles that can get trapped between the screen halves when the device is folded.
